Brown Eggs Can Be Easter Eggs, Too!
While I love the Christmas and Thanksgiving seasons, Easter always seems to make its appearance just when I need it.
Easter and springtime seem to be so intertwined bringing new hope and life. Like most households, we grew up hunting candy stuffed plastic eggs, but one of our favorite traditions was dying hardboiled eggs. We'd each get a mixed dozen of brown and white eggs to create to our hearts content, drawing designs with crayons and watching as they became the most beautiful colors.
While the white eggs produce the most light and airy pastel colors, my favorite were the dark and rich hues the brown eggs produced no matter what color you dyed them.
So, maybe this year give brown eggs a try!!
